THE RECORD ON ECONOMIC GROWTH. Kingston is a city on the move, one that has matched public investments like New York State’s recent $10 million dollar grant awarded to Uptown with private investments such as development of the Hutton Brickyards to Stockade Filmworks and the uptown “Food Hub” at the old Woolworth’s building on Wall Street. Within the next two years, Kingston will be transformed by the Kingston Greenline, connecting bike trails throughout the City to the Ashokan Reservoir. Broadway and the traffic circle in midtown will receive much-needed facelifts and traffic calming measures. All of these changes will have more than an aesthetic effect: they will continue to lead to greater economic investment and a stronger community.
Vote for economic progress and unity in Kingston by supporting the ENDORSED Democratic candidates on November 7th. Polls are open from 6am – 9pm.
