Alderman Steven Schabot will be hosting a Ward 8 meeting on April 9, at 6:30pm at City Hall in Council Chambers. Schabot will be providing an update from NYSDOT on the status of the Wurts Street Bridge. He has also invited Kristen Wilson, the Director of Grants Management, to attend the meeting to discuss grant-funded projects in the waterfront neighborhoods. Projects included in the discussion will be the Kingston Point Rail Trail, the Waterfront Resiliency Project, the Rondout Riverport Shoreline Stabilization and Public Access Project, the Hudson Landing Promenade, Kingston Point Park Infrastructure Improvements, Kingston Point Beach ADA Accessibility Improvements, TR Gallo Park Repairs, Open Space Plan and EV Charging Stations.
